Attaching the Solar Life to the mounting bracket
NOTICE
- For easier installation of the power cable, a cable gland M25 (1.219.2501.50 + Locknut M25) can be used. These are sold separately.
- Up to two data cables can be connected: one for the smart meter connection and one for the Ethernet connection.
To attach the Solar Life to the mounting bracket:
- Remove the trim cover Ⓐ and the sealing cover Ⓞ. See Removing and installing the covers.
- If the power and data cables need to enter through the back panel:
- Use a step drill and create the required 25 mm hole for the power cable entry Ⓑ and, if applicable, for the data cable entry Ⓒ.
- Install the M25 grommet in the power cable entry Ⓑ. Install the M25 Multi-hole grommet in the data cable entry Ⓒ.
- Route the power cable through the M25 grommet into the cable entry Ⓑ.
- If applicable, route the data cable(s) through the M25 Multi-hole grommet into the cable entry Ⓒ.
- Place the Solar Life onto the mounting bracket Ⓝ. Attach it with two T20 Torx bolts.
NOTICE Make sure the M25 grommets are correctly seated in the cable entries. Do not connect the cables at this moment.

- If the power and data cables need to enter through the bottom cable entries:
- Route the power cable through the power cable gland Ⓔ.
- If applicable, route the data cable(s) through the data cable gland Ⓓ. If necessary, use a reducer to make sure the cable is sealed correctly.
NOTICE Do not connect the cables at this moment.
