Connecting the data cables

NOTICE

  • Use an Ethernet cable with a specification of Cat 5e or higher.
  • The P1 dongle is required to connect the charging station to a smart meter. Contact We Drive Solar Netherlands BV for information. The P1 dongle needs to be installed near the smart meter.

To connect the data cables for the smart meter:

  1. Make sure the trim cover Ⓐ and the sealing cover Ⓞ are removed.

    2. See Removing and installing the covers.

  2. To connect to the internet, connect the Ethernet cable to the ETH port and the internet router.
  3. To connect a smart meter, connect the Ethernet cable to the P1 port and the P1 dongle ⓐ.

  1. Close the remaining holes in the data cable gland Ⓓ with the included M32 blind plugs ⓐ. Tighten the data cable gland.
