Intended use and reasonably foreseeable misuse
Intended use
The Solar Life is intended to be used:
- As a charging station for an electric vehicle and to discharge electricity back to the grid (V2G).
- As EV supply equipment, permanently connected to AC supply networks.
- Indoors or outdoors.
- With an approved Type 2 charging cable (max. 8 m length).
- With electrical installations with a 1-phase (1P) or 3-phase (3P) connection.
- With external management software and a mobile app provided by third parties.
Alternatively, an approved Type 1 charging cable. In that case, charging is automatically limited to 1-phase, even if the installation is connected to a 3-phase electrical installation.
Reasonably foreseeable misuse
Reasonably foreseeable misuse includes:
- Using the Solar Life to charge or connect to a product, machine or apparatus other than an electric vehicle.
- Using cord extension sets or power plugs to connect the Solar Life to the mains supply.
- Using the Solar Life with an adapter or converter to connect it.
- Using the Solar Life with unapproved charging cables or types other than Type 1 or Type 2.
The product shall be used with the following software, original accessories and components only:

Any other use than the one described in this manual is regarded as non-intended use.
