Safety information related to the intended use and reasonably foreseeable misuse
  • RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Dangerous electrical currents. Only authorised personnel shall open the product to prevent electric shocks or possible damage to the product.
  • RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Never use the product with the covers removed. Only use the product in complete and good condition.
  • RISK OF FIRE OR OVERHEATING! Do not use the product with a charging cable whose current rating is lower than the current setting of the charging station.
  • Only install and use the product according to the instructions and within the specified performance limits as described in these Installation and User Instructions.
Installation safety information
  • Installation and commissioning shall only be done by a properly qualified and skilled installer who has read and understood these Installation and User Instructions and with due observance of the applicable rules and legislation. The installer is responsible for employing skilled and qualified personnel.
  • Always shut off the product according to the LOCKOUT/TAGOUT method before doing any installation, maintenance or repair work. Check and follow all safety measures.
  • Make sure that the electrical voltage of the supply network agrees with the required electrical supply input specified in these Installation and User Instructions. Only establish a connection if there is such conformity.
  • Make sure the protective earth from the building distribution board is connected and verified (PE continuity/bonding).
  • Only use the product when it is correctly and completely installed according to the instructions. Be aware that the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for damage and/or personal injuries resulting from the incorrect installation of the product.
  • Do not install a damaged product. Contact the supplier or manufacturer in case of damage.
  • Fence off the work area and keep unauthorised persons away.
  • RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not expose the product to rain or wet conditions when covers are removed. Water entering the product will increase the risk of electric shock.
  • Check for concealed cables and pipes before drilling.
  • Make sure that cable entries and glands are fitted correctly, provide strain relief where necessary, and seal any unused entries to prevent moisture ingress.
  • Always install the required upstream protective products as instructed in these Installation and User Instructions and in accordance with local regulations.
Operating safety information
  • Only persons who have carefully read and understood these Installation and User Instructions are allowed to use the product.
  • Make sure that all users know where the circuit breaker is in the building’s electrical installation in case of an emergency.
  • Always inspect the product before use. If there is any sign of damage or if you suspect moisture entering the product, stop using it and set the circuit breaker to OFF. Do not use the product until a qualified technician has repaired it.
  • Protect the charging cable and the plug. Dry the plug before use. Do not leave the charging cable on the ground; store it in a safe place to keep it dry.
  • Never insert any other object into the socket/outlet other than a certified T2 plug.
  • Do not place objects on or against the product. Do not use the product as a support or to lean on.

  • Do not remove, bypass or disable safety guards, doors, switches or sensors. Failure to observe this instruction can lead to death or severe personal injuries. Safety guards, doors, switches and sensors are intended to protect operators against all possible hazards.
Electrical safety information
  • Only qualified electricians are allowed to work on the electrical system.
  • Always shut off the product according to the LOCKOUT/TAGOUT method before doing any installation, maintenance or repair work. Check and follow all safety measures.
  • Make sure that all users understand the LOCKOUT/TAGOUT procedure to help prevent anyone from accidentally turning on the power of the product.
  • Disconnect the electric vehicle from the charging station before any intervention.
  • Before you remove electrical parts, secure the parts and test for the absence of voltage with suitable instruments.
  • Check the product and the cables for damage before electrical installation. If there is any visible damage, a strong odour or excessive heating of components, disconnect the power supply immediately and do not use the product.
  • Only connect the product as instructed in these Installation and User Instructions and in accordance with the legal guidelines.
  • Do not touch the product or its electronic components if your body is electrostatically charged. Always uncharge your body by touching a grounded object.
Maintenance, repair and modification safety information
  • Maintenance, service, and repair work shall only be done by authorised personnel and when all applicable safety instructions can be applied.
  • Maintenance and inspection tasks other than those described in these Installation and User Instructions shall be done by an authorised and qualified person.
  • Disconnect the electric vehicle from the charging station before any intervention.
  • RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Before opening the service cover, make sure to set the circuit breaker in the building's electrical installation to OFF. Live wires are exposed when the service cover is removed. Always shut off the product according to the LOCKOUT/TAGOUT method before doing any installation, maintenance or repair work.
  • RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not expose the product to rain or wet conditions when covers are removed. Water entering the product will increase the risk of electric shock.
  • Check and follow all safety measures.
  • Always follow the maintenance and service schedule as indicated in these Installation and User Instructions. If there is any visible damage, a strong odour, or excessive overheating of components, stop using the product.
  • Do not use the product when a seal is damaged. Inspect and replace the seals according to the maintenance and inspection tasks.
  • Do NOT use a water-spraying hose or high-pressure cleaner to clean the product. Water could get into sensitive parts of the product.
  • The product has safety labels in areas with high risk of injury or with other important instructions. Always replace missing or damaged safety labels immediately. If you replace safety labels with new ones, make sure that you place the new safety labels in the same places.
  • Do not modify or change the product or the technical specifications of the product. Only use original parts and accessories.
