Using the Solar Life

  WARNING

  • RISK OF TRIPPING! Always make sure that the charging cable is positioned so no one can trip over it and the charging cable is not under tension.
  • The recommended charging cable type is Type 2. Type 1 is supported, but charging is automatically limited to 1-phase only.
  • V2G works only in regions with grid compliance for V2G.

Starting a charging session

  1. Connect the charging cable:
    1. For models with a fixed charging cable Ⓚ, connect the plug Ⓛ to the vehicle.
    2. For models with an outlet Ⓕ, connect the charging cable to the vehicle and the outlet.

    The status LED Ⓙ changes to green.

  2. Place your identification (charge card, fob or remote ID from an app) in front of the RFID reader Ⓘ.

    3. The status LED Ⓙ flashes green to indicate the identification is being verified.

  3. When the status LED Ⓙ changes to blue, the verification is completed and the charging or discharging is in progress.

NOTICE The We Drive Solar logo Ⓗ rotates clockwise to indicate charging and counterclockwise to indicate discharging.
