What will you do?
As a Hardware Engineer at We Drive Solar, you will design and develop the electronic hardware behind our innovative charging solutions. Think of smart circuits, PCBs, and systems that contribute to the energy transition.
You’ll work closely with software developers, product designers, and production engineers to create robust and future-proof hardware. Your work directly impacts the quality, safety, and scalability of our products.

Your responsibilities
- Designing analog and digital circuits for smart charging technology
- Creating specifications, schematics, and PCB layouts
- Selecting components and managing bills of materials (BOM)
- Testing and validating prototypes, including EMC and CE certification processes
- Debugging and optimizing hardware during development and testing phases
- Collaborating with software, mechanical, and production departments
- Maintaining contact with suppliers and certification bodies
- Contributing to continuous process improvement and technological innovation
What do you bring?
- Higher education (HBO/WO) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar
- At least 2 years of experience in hardware development
- Experience with PCB design software and simulation tools
- Knowledge of EMC, signal integrity, and product certification is a plus
- You are analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused
- You communicate clearly in both Dutch and English
